An Illustrator exercise focused on using the distort and transform effect. (There are actually only a handful of illustrated objects). I chose to base it on a domed ceiling from the byzantium era—since I love the rich blues—more specifically the Mezquita Cordoba, now called the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption.
