For this piece, I had mix regular pencils with colour pencils. I chose my dog eying chicken as my subject. Unfortunately—being the procrastinator that I am—I did this photo session at around 3 in the morning. My dog—who is usually a little glutton—was exhausted and did not want to lay his head on the table, and repeatedly opted to curl up in a ball on the chair instead. So that look in his eye isn't longing. It's exhaustion. (I know, I'm horrible…)
