I was applying for a course, and one of the drawing tests was a self portrait.
Just previous to learning of this, I'd done a couple paintings of myself, and yet none of the portraits I did qualified for the test! Of course the requirements were that it be rendered in pencil, and had to be a specific size. Oh well, too bad.
